Bugeishi Aikido

Visiting Aikidoka and other martial artists

Bugeisha Aikido Club welcomes Aikidoka from all other clubs and styles of martial arts. A visitor is someone who attends periodically and infrequently.

Visitors are encouraged to wear the belt of their current grade. However, it should be clearly understood that this does not mean that they are recognised as holding that grade in Bugeisha Aikido; what it does mean is that their experience, dedication, commitment and hard work to obtain that grade is recognised.

As with all club members:

  • Anyone who trains on the mat needs to be insured. Visitors are requested to present a current form of insurance to the instructor prior to training. If they are unable to do this they will need to apply for insurance through the club at a one off cost of £10 for one year’s coverage. A receipt will be issued by the Chief Instructor upon request.
  • It is expected and required that everyone on the mat will abide by the spirit and intent of the club whilst training with us.
